Today we delivered 300 of our gift boxes to Downtown Boston where the Boston.com team were getting prepared for their annual Running of the Bridesmaids charity run in support of the Big Sister Association. We are super happy to support such a great cause. Especially as a close friend of ours is a newly appointed Big Sister. We love the idea of women running dressed in their finest attire and thought our Madeleine cookies would be a perfect treat for the finish line!
This Sunday we took part in our first Bridal fair at The Chelmsford Arts Center. Besides meeting brides, we also enjoyed getting complimentary feedback on all our cakes and sandwiches which we brought for tasting. Our samples included cucumber sandwiches and cheese and onion sandwiches which were very popular. Our pastries were mini-cheesecakes, madeleine cookies and pumpkin bites. We also made tiny little scones which were filled with cream and jam. So good! We got a chance to meet some very nice vendors who were local to the Chelmsford/Lowell area.
We love antique shopping, especially when we have to do it for work! There is nothing better than
finding amazing vintage tea cups, tea pots, and plates. We love the idea of being able to reuse such
beautiful items and know that they will create an amazing décor for a bridal shower, kid’s party, or just
any kind of tea party. This weekend we took one of our closest friends shopping and it was the best
summer’s day which we ended by having fried seafood in Rockport.
What a fun and lovely Bridal shower! Such friendly and easy to work with clients. It was a pleasure
helping these great ladies throw Becca an amazing shower. Their home in Newton was a perfect setting
as well. We provided twenty five of our vintage tea cups and plates, pretty much all our tiered cake
stands and 10 tea pots!
